Lower Eye Lift
Before Treatment
This lady requested treatment to her lower eye lids. Whilst her skin was already in excellent condition, she was concerned that fine lines had started to develop under her eyes and she wanted to lessen them.
After Treatment
This is the appearance of the eye directly after treatment.
The Next Day
The eye area swells up. Arnica can be used to soothe the area and reduce swelling, although swelling around the eye area is normal.
Three Weeks Later – Before and After
The area looks healed and the lines which are visible on the before photo have now gone. On close inspection, a few pink spots remain but these will fade (it is important to wear Factor 50 suncream to protect the skin and prevent hyperpigmentation).
Note that the skin continues to improve in quality for approximately 4 – 6 weeks after treatment due to fibroblast proliferation. In other words, an influx of collagen and elastin rejuvenates the skin and rewinds the years.
